This year marks an incredibly special milestone for the Service – 50 years of saving and changing lives across Northern NSW. The support of our community has been a crucial part of everything we have achieved.

When we think about 50 years of service, we realise it’s not just about the time that has passed, it’s about the provision of critical care and support in a time of need. The times when a life hung in the balance. These are the moments we remember, because they’re not just about us, they are about the patient, their family and loves ones, and about you, the community we serve.

Your belief in what we do and your generosity have built the very foundations of our Service and with your support we were able to commence our Tamworth operation in August 2000. This year, our Tamworth operation proudly celebrates 25 years of providing worldclass aeromedical and search and rescue capabilities to the New England region.

As we reflect on everything we have achieved throughout our 50 year journey, we know there is still so much we can do. The years ahead will bring new challenges and new ways to improve the care we provide.
