Now in its eleventh year, the Byron Coastal Charity Walk gets people moving 12, 24 or 36km down the picturesque sandy beaches and walking tracks from Byron to Ballina whilst raising funds for the Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service.

As a social and non-competitive walk, participants can walk or run at any pace and choose to enter individually or in teams. The event is fully supported with snacks, marshals on track, medical assistance and lots of great entertainment.

The walk starts in Dening Park, Byron Bay and walkers can choose from three distances:

12km – Byron Bay to Broken Head

24km – Byron Bay to Lennox Head

36km – Byron Bay to Ballina
