On the scene of a motor vehicle accident on the New England Highway at Belford. The Westpac Rescue Helicopter assisted a teenage male who had suffered serious injuries. The patient was flown direct to John Hunter Hospital, Newcastle.

The Westpac Rescue Helicopter was called to a motorcycle accident on the Old Pacific Highway at Glenugie, south of Grafton. It was reported that the motorcyclist collided with a horse. The patient was flown to Gold Coast University Hospital.
