Rescue Club

Have you or a loved one been flown by us? We’d love to hear from you.

We encourage our Rescue Club and friends to connect, share and inspire. Together, we can help raise awareness about our Service and make a difference to the lives of others.

Getting in touch provides you with the opportunity to:

· Tell your story

· Visit a helicopter base with your family

· Meet the crew and let them know your outcomes

· Receive invitations to our Service functions and events

· See the helicopter up close under better circumstances

· Receive our newsletter with stories of other missions

· Thank the Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service

· Find out more ways to connect

I submitted the form. What happens next?

A member of our team will contact you by phone or email within 5 business days to learn about your rescue experience. We’ll ask your preferred sharing options and discuss ways you may like to be involved.

How can I prepare for this communication?

Consider whether you are ready to share your story publicly, or whether you’d prefer to keep details private for now. Either is fine. You may simply like to receive invitations to our Rescue Family events. We respect your wishes and appreciate your contact.

If I decide to share my story, who would see it?

While we greatly appreciate hearing the heart-warming stories of our patients, we are respectful of your privacy. You can choose to share your patient story publicly across our media including socials and print, or share to Service staff only including our crew. Nothing is shared without your consent.

Can I meet the crew that helped me?

We can coordinate a tour at a helicopter base closest to you for yourself, your friends and family. If you’re interested in meeting your mission’s crew, we’ll make every effort to arrange a reunion. However, it’s not always possible as our crew work shifts and may be unavailable.
