This afternoon the Westpac #RescueHelicopter was tasked on an urgent medical retrieval to #CoffsHarbour Hospital to transfer an elderly female suffering a medical condition requiring specialist treatment to John Hunter Hospital. The patient was stabilised by the #Helicopter Critical Care Medical Team prior to airlifting her to #Newcastle.

Earlier today the Westpac #RescueHelicopter was tasked to a helicopter accident on a property near #Bellata, south of #Moree. A male sustained pelvic; leg and possible spinal injuries whilst a female sustained minor injuries. Both patients were treated on scene by local #NSWAmbulance #Paramedics with the female being transported by road ambulance to Moree Hospital. The male patient was stabilised by the #Helicopter Critical Care Medical Team and airlifted to John Hunter Hospital.

In less than THREE months, 50 vehicles will be departing the #CopiHollow Caravan Park for a 4WD Adventure to remember in the 2022 Drover’s Run. After two years of postponements, our entrants will be covering over 5,500km in 16 days, heading through #SouthAustralia, into the #NorthernTerritory and #Uluru, and then into #Queensland and finishing up in #Tamworth. In the coming months the Drover’s will be preparing for this trip of a lifetime and running fundraisers for the Westpac #RescueHelicopter, so make sure you’re following the Drover's Run Outback Adventure - Fundraiser page to stay up to date! Good luck to all our entrants and thank you to the community for supporting their events!

A busy afternoon for the  Westpac #RescueHelicopter with multiple missions across  #NorthernNSW including 👇

🔺 Tasked to #Warialda where a man sustained serious injuries when an All Terrain Vehicle rolled. Local #NSWAmbulance #Paramedics and #EmergencyServices attended the scene and commenced treatment of the man before he was road transported to Warialda Hospital to meet the Rescue Helicopter. He was further treated and airlifted to #Tamworth Rural referral Hospital. 
🔺 A man in #Kelvin, north of #Gunnedah was injured when he was hit by a falling tree branch. He was treated on the scene by the Helicopter Critical Care Medical Team and local Emergency Services before being flown to Tamworth for further treatment.
🔺 Urgent #InterHospitalTransfer of a man from #PortMacquarie Hospital to John Hunter Hospital #Newcastle.

The Westpac #RescueHelicopter on the scene late on Monday at #Coonabarabran. A woman fell through ceiling while performing house repairs and sustained serious chest injuries. The patient was treated on by #NSWAmbulance #Paramedics and the Helicopter Critical Care Medical Team before being flown to #Tamworth Rural Referral Hospital. 

This followed an earlier mission by the #Lismore based Rescue Helicopter, an urgent #InterHospitalTransfer of a man with serious head and spinal injuries sustained in a prior fall. He was flown from #TweedHeads Hospital to Princess Alexandra Hospital #Brisbane.
