The annual Single Builders Tamworth Rescue Ball, raising funds for the Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service’s Tamworth Base, will reach new heights in 2025 as it returns to the Oxley Scenic Lookout in February.

The gala evening on Saturday 22 February will celebrate the milestone of 50 years of the Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service in Northern NSW, which commenced from humble beginnings in 1975, as a volunteer patrol with a single aircraft servicing the Hunter coast.

In addition, the evening will acknowledge 25 years since the establishment of a dedicated Tamworth base in August of 2000, to service the New England North West.

It has been 10 years since the iconic Tamworth landmark hosted the last Rescue Ball but the significance of 2025 had organisers eager to return and to present a truly memorable evening for guests.

Organisers have promised an elegant event, celebrating the Service that has made a difference to so many lives within the Tamworth community and the wider New England North West region.

The Single Builders Tamworth Rescue Ball will include a delicious three-course meal and beverage package and live entertainment from “Planet Groove.”

The community is invited to come together to honour this incredible milestone, whilst raising funds in support of the Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service’s Tamworth base operations.
