Generic Raffle Terms & Conditions
This raffle promotion is operated by Northern NSW Helicopter Rescue Service Limited trading as Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service (WRHS) ABN 40 002 862 026 CFN 11992.
Participation in the raffle will close as per the promoted dates and times.
The raffle draw will occur as per the promoted dates and time with the winners to be notified as soon as possible.
Participants may enter the raffle as many times as they may wish. Participants must be over the age of 18 years to purchase tickets in the raffle. All prizes are not redeemable for cash.
WRHS Staff and Board Members and any WRHS Volunteers who are involved in the conduct of this Raffle cannot purchase tickets in this raffle.
Prizes that are deemed by WRHS in its absolute discretion to be unable to be mailed are to be collected by prize winners from their nearest WRHS base.
WRHS may in its absolute discretion require ticket stubs to be provided as proof of purchase and/or proof of identification of any winners.
WRHS will make all reasonable efforts to locate the winners following the draw date. Following the winners being contacted by WRHS, the prizes that are unable to be posted/mailed must be collected by the prize winner within twenty-eight (28) days after the date that the winners are notified by WRHS.
Once prizes have left WRHS’s premises, WRHS shall not be responsible for any delay in delivery, or failure of safe delivery of prizes. WRHS will take no responsibility for prizes damaged in transit.
If any prize/s remain unclaimed 3 months following the draw date, the prize will be re-drawn, and a new winner determined for that respective prize. If a prize winner is unable to be found, this information will be published with winner’s names on WRHS website and social media sites. Any redraw and replacement winners will also be published if applicable.
WRHS reserves the right to disqualify from the raffle any person who WRHS believes has breached any of these terms and conditions, or has engaged in any unlawful, negligent or improper misconduct to interfere with the fair and proper conduct of the raffle. WRHS reserves its legal rights in this regard.
In the event of a dispute regarding the governing of the conduct of the raffle or the claiming of a raffle prize, WRHS’s decision will be final and WRHS will not enter into correspondence regarding the results of the raffle.
In the event of any natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest or other events outside of WRHS’ control that may change the result of the raffle, hinders the raffle being conducted in a fair and proper manner, or prevents the determination of a prize winner, WRHS may in its absolute discretion cancel the raffle and recommence it from the start on the same conditions subject at all times to compliance with relevant laws.
WRHS shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever that is suffered (including but not limited to direct loss, indirect loss, consequential loss or loss of profits) or sustained in connection with the raffle or any prize/s, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
